"Day of Silence"
Would be better S.E.R.V.E.D
"Day of Dialog"
The so-called “Day of Silence” is nothing more than political pressure toward students to silence and censor anyone who disagrees with normalizing or embracing homosexuality. It is a time of blatant endorsement and recruitment, in which students are encouraged to “sign” others up, "...to bring awareness", give support, join the lifestyle or even join the movement itself. It doesn’t accomplish anything except promotion of this special interest group, further homosexual training and continue the conditioning of young minds and the rest of society. The very premise directs intimidation at anyone who challenges the ideals of this movement.
The homosexual lobby, GLSEN, and other supporters claim they do not want discrimination. Yet, discrimination of other groups is allowed and encouraged, especially on this day. Some, proud of degenerate behavior, perpetuate shunning, ostracizing and even threatening tactics. This is particularly of religious groups who, for moral and religious reasons, disagree. That premise alone should be enough. Common sense reasons, such as not wanting our children sexualized, should be enough! Parents don't discuss heterosexuality with five or six-year-olds, so why on earth would parents discuss homosexuality with a six, seven or eight-year-old? We wouldn't! How about the parents who simply want to decide when to discuss the subject matter with their child? Some feel that it is simply inappropriate and don't want it taught to their children at all, and certainly not without their knowledge or consent.
Just the word “tolerance” is exaggerated, overused, and abused. Proponents of this political movement, also seek to change the way “discrimination” is defined to manipulate the public, manipulate legislatures and gain public sympathy. The attack on Free Speech is on the rise, because, any defense we have, such as moral conviction or religious beliefs is deemed “discrimination.” Parents beware. Even some youth with a disability such as, ADD or Autism, are told by their activist peers that the reason they have trouble sorting things out, must be because they are gay! How slanted! Our kids also aren’t allowed to share medical and scientific facts which would expose the notion that a homosexual is born that way and cannot change. Our middle school children and high schoolers are being used as pawns to recruit as many for this movement as they can for public sympathy and to attempt add to their numbers at the voting polls.
Another strategy in an attempt to make homosexuality acceptable is to liken it to something immutable like race or gender. Do not be deceived, the two are not equal. People in any ethnic group are born with sets of genes that determine race, sex, and even the way we look. Sure, some do care about how people of color are treated or perceived in our nation, but without the benefit of political traction and the hope of normalizing homosexuality, this movement would not operate so vigorously under the pretense of Civil Rights. It is a crutch. To tell our children that a gay person was born that way without medically sound evidence takes advantage of our children, confuses them and exploits their innocence. We do not believe that this group would use people of color, or use Civil Rights' retoric in their campaign strategy, if it did not benefit them socially or politically.
Additionally, the classroom is increasingly becoming a place of indoctrination. If it weren’t, other points of view would be welcomed, encouraged and allowed. In this climate of social deviance and pressure to conform, only one point of view is embraced and accepted. That corrupt and destructive view is that it is that homosexuality is completely normal and children as young as six, could even be "pre-homosexual". The school district violates their own policy #6144, which requires the other points of view on a controversial issue. The problem is, the school decides what is controversial. Be advised, that whenever you hear of alleged “bullying” or acts of “discrimination” on the “gay” population, which is less than one percent, you rarely hear of actual accounts to back them up and most certaintly not in grades K-5! These terms are used solely to exaggerate teasing or simple disagreements to gain public sympathy. Meanwhile, in our schools, parental authority is sabotaged, undermined, and the hijacking of innocent minds is at work.
Make no mistake, some movements will stop at nothing to advance their political agenda. They will use children, exaggerate statistics, (while lacking medical data to back up ill-conceived claims), and resort to the same old tired name-calling, bullying, and polarizing the community. Whatever it takes. Anyone who disagrees, is demonized, publicly. When will it end? It won't. There is a war for your child's mind and there is no demilitarized zone. Parents, cement your values into your child's heart. Make regular visits to your child's classroom and talk in depth with your child about their day. You know your child. Pay attention to personality changes. Stay in communication with your child's teacher. Make administrative complaints when your rights and the rights of your child are violated and follow them through. Document incidences thoroughly, including teacher and administrative retaliation against your child for reporting it. Yes, it does happen! S.E.R.V.E. has listened to actual accounts of this happening from parents. Children are innocent and parents are not in the classroom all the time to protect them or to be able to challenge immoral notions. Remember, the activists know this and capitalize on it.
You are your child's best advocate, so stay engaged. Parents cannot afford the luxury of being too busy to know what's going on at your child's school or be too busy to know what's going on with them personally. Let's stay on the campuses, and remain visible and engaged. This is still a democracy, and anyone should be allowed to exert a differing opinion or point of view without being subjected to harassment, bullying or discrimination....anyone!
